Our History
Authentica Solutions, founded by Russell Long and Gene Garcia in 2013, has made a significant impact in the education sector. In 2017, they successfully sold Authentica Solutions to BrightBytes, which was later acquired by Google. In 2019, they sold their key solution, DataSense, to Microsoft. In 2022, Russell and Gene reacquired Authentica Solutions, including their Medicaid Solutions service and Special Education Platform Phoenix. This vision led to the development of Authentica seed™, an Education Intelligence Platform.
